My son has a 07 Tundra 5.7L, Double cab, 4wd, 6 in. Procomp lift w/ Procomp 35/12.5-20 tires and wheels, bad ass ride, just added a JBA cat back system...single outlet.. fabricated a pressurized air box intake system. My experience is with Honda for 35 years, self employed motorcycle custom fabrication and dyno performance, road raced AMA and WERA for 10 years. Currently living and working in Arizona, Working at a Toyota dealership, This air box system is totally capable of working within the parameters of the stock ECU settings, I first changed the exhaust, after 3 drive cycles the ecu adjusted, exhaust sounded cool, nice grunt to the Tundra, once the pressurized air box was fabricated this baby woke up. Mileage increases by 4.0 mpg. overall seat of pants feel is amazing, acceleration is now better than a 5.7, 2wd single cab. K+N air filter added, The exhaust tone went from a groul to a brapping sound, 50 mph on acceleration full throttle pushes you into the seat. I am going to add water injection for full throttle accel, reason being that it was driven in a serious rain the other day and the overall throttle response was amazing, slowing down the burn brings on free HP
