let me get onto Ytube and check out what you guys are talking about before I jump into this speed talk.
either way, whatever I find on Ytube, I'm loving the fact the our Tundras can kick some AAAAAAAAAA.
Even Stock w/o any mods.
Hi - I enjoyed it so much too and was neat to just run into you like that. Your ride has a very clean appeal and those taillights like Dez would do wonders. Everyone was so friendly and I'm hoping for another event soon enough.
I need to custom fab the brackets for my bull bar and might be able to get it on a lift then. There's a lift in my landlord's home shop but I didn't want to mess with it this weekend cuz he's got some race cars in there right now.
Undercover tonneaus are very nice and practicle for the price. They have great customer service and quick warranty response times. I have had mine for about a year or so now and only had one real problem, one of the lifting supports blew out and the top wouldn't stay up with just one, so I called them and they sent me a new set right away. Just make sure you register the top by serial number on the website for warranty. As far as fit and seals its good no issues so far. The only thing I would recommend is double check your spacing on the back end near the rear corners, as the lid can make contact with the corners and cause some scratching. A peice of insulating foam tape works great and you never know its there till you lift up the lid. Ok theres my two cents, hope it helps. Later, Tony
I fit under there pretty well. The problem is the lighting and I'm using my Blackberry because my digicam got messed up and I haven't messed with it or bought a new one since I don't take pics that much. I'll keep working on it though!
Hmm having a bit of trouble rolling around under my truck to get you those shots. I'll have to do it on the weekend when I pull it out of the garage and have better daylight.
You did a good thing getting those tires at that price. That's what I see for stock tires people take off and post so not bad at all. And I will try to get the underbelly pics for you soon. I went with K&N because I am more familiar with the name and liked the warranty. I also did not want to spend an enormous amount of money on CAI because I don't think I really needed it. I wanted the exhaust for the sound and not the CAI. CAI was about MPG increase and not HP - this truck does more than enough as stock but that exhaust was too quiet for a truck. Hope that answered your ?s
Good question. The alignment process corrects the camber, hence an alignment is essential as part of the install...at least if you like your front tires! :-) I should probably re-iterate this in future lift/leveling kit reviews going forward. Thanks.
