Definitely a normal thing - I'm on inclines out here in NorCal and it happens but it's not drastic. I think it just caught you off-guard but hope you'll get used to it now.

It is normal. The torque converter in the tundras doesn't really drag much unless it is in engine braking mode.

considering the vast majority of the terrain here is pretty much flat... most of out property is at or below sea level i can't say i have done this in my tundra. - That being said.. any vehicle will roll back when presented with a steep enough incli…
