I have an 07 Tundra and 07 Sienna. Both make this noise when the engine is cold. This noise goes away once the engines are at normal operating temp. I guess only time will tell.

Mike, I am surprised that you went with another Tundra, but good for you. I plan to purchase an extended warranty and keep mine for a while. I looked at the Honda Ridgeline today and just can't go to a smaller truck. Let us know how the 2010 Tundra…

I plan to take the truck in for the oil change this weekend. I will be up at Hesser in two weeks. If the dealer here won't listen to me, then Hesser will. Just curious----how does your truck run with the A/C on? Mine hates it. The engine really race…

Mike, I need my oil changed----have 3000 miles on the oil. I checked it yesterday and it was dirty and red in color. Looked like transmissin fluid. I have never had oil look like that in any vehicle so far. I fear for the short life of this engine.

Glad to hear that the dealership helped you out. I have a 2007 DC TRD with about 20k miles. I have noticed lately that my steering wheel makes a strange noise when I try pulling the truck into my garage. Has anyone else noticed this noise? I have ha…

depending on how you look at it (I say more bad news), I am getting my tailgate repainted both inside and out due to 2 factory flawed dime sized rust spots coming thru the paint. Both spots are raising/bubbling/cracking the paint and one is on the b…

I hear you Greg about the thin inside metal bolted on sheetmetal. I too with my 270lbs. have about 7-8 small dents there also on the inside tailgate. I can even, if I wanted to, push hard down with my palm of my hand and put a small dent in the insi…

I am becoming more and more concerned at these little things breaking/wearing out so early. I have had this truck in shop more than any of my previous vehicles combined----and I have been driving for 22 years. I still have 17k miles of warranty left…

I also had my serpentine belt replaced due to severe cracks all over with only 22K on my 07 not even 2 years old yet - unreal! No problems yet on my tailgate latch bolts breaking, but I've heard much worse than that on the cheap, inferior tailgates…

I just had my 07 Tundra in the shop again. I went to open my tailgate last week and the handle was really loose. I took it in today and they said that the bolts were completely broken and had to order a new one. I also showed them the cracked serpen…

Mike, I just checked mine and don't see any rust. Just behind that area on the corner of the bed ----do you have a black plastic peice? I have one on the passenger side and one missing on the driver's side. I have a 07 sienna with 40k miles and it…

Mike, I looked at my truck and don't see the missing paint on the back doors. Sorry that you are having some major issues that should be avoidable for a great company like Toyota. It is not fair that we have to take time off of work, waste travel t…

I've had my driveshaft "aligned", but it still klunks and slams. Here's all the TSB and recall info I have. Hope it helps.

Has anyone heard of these issues with the Sequoia? I assume a similiar platform and powerplant.

Mike, I understand your problems 100%. I will be sure to check my rear doors. Someone mentioned a "white streaking" on their paint. My white paint has the same thing and it drives me crazy. I take such good care of my vehicles and this paint is not…

I don't remeber where i downloaded these from. I was surfing and there was a complete list of TSB's for known defects so I grabbed them.
