I noticed the Sequoia has a lot of the same things in the Tundra and uses many of the same body parts too. What's the real difference in the engines?

Interesting - I kind of thought there would be some slight variation. Thanks for the info.

SInce The Tundra Got Da New Look I Guess The Sequoia Wanted 1 Too Lol But I Seen The Inside Of 1 & It'z Sweet But Way Too High On The Price. I Rather Get A F-250 or Chevy 2500 For That Price But If The Tundra Came Out Wit Da Heavy Duty Then I'd Get It For That Price Too. I Wonder If The Tacoma & 4Runner Gonna Get A New Look?

whats diffrent between a f 250 and gmc 2500 to tundra or seqouia ,that i can comment on. most mechanical probs on Ford or chevy or any american brand is after 60 thousand miles . on toyo's 135 thousand if that.you get what you pay for but you get more from toyota . =)

Yea I Feel Ya. I Just Wish The Tundra Just Didnt Drink Up That Much Fuel Though. It'z A Waste Compared To The New Ford & Dodge But I Still Luv My Truck Lol. Hopifully In The Future That Wont B A Problem For The Tundra & Sequoia When They Improve The Engine More... Still Wishin That They'll Make A Diesel:D

I'm glad you asked about the difference between the Ford F-250 and Tundra. Tundra has better brakes, F-250/F350 have 13.66" front brakes, and Tundra has 13.6's on the rear, not to mention the 4 piston calipers vs. 2 piston on the Super Duty. Another thing, the Tundra's 5.7L has more HP than Ford's V-10, what a joke. 381 to 362 and of course better fuel economy. One last thing, you'll never see a Tundra at 60k replacing the rear end like Ford's either. Just a few of many advantages of the Tundra to a "so called Super Duty" :D

I'm trying to convince my friend to get the Sequoia since he can't get the Tundra (kiddos need more space). At least the engine is there and he can throw some 22s on it!
