Members I just wanted to let people be aware that TundraSolutions.com is involved in unethical forums practices . I first observed this back in 2006 when Oem Value was selling Navigation system's that I myself purchased and had issues after the sell. When contacted Oem value( Troy ) owner of oem value and Vendor for Ts never returned email's or phone call's to answer any questions I had after the sell. I ran across a tread on Ts.com about this same business practice and the tread was closed from the administration and acting on there best interest they gave praise to Oem value.
Folk's Ts.com has done this not once but a few other times closing threads that suit there best interest. Overall I wouldn't contribute to a site like and left on a so called ban after Tundrasoul didn't agree with my choice to call a bad moderator out.I've been with Ts.com since the start of sept 2000 and was a long time contributing member to the site. I just got tired of dealing with the died weight and new moderator's who soul purpose was to lie in my face and back stab other member's. It's very well knowen from long term standing member's that Ts has a huge ego now and I have no problems stating my ground's and letting people know about my experiences there.
Jason has created a very good site here and I enjoying reading about the suggestions and not be censored on fact's and truth that Ts.com has done more then a few times. I'm not here to created Problem's with Ts.com but share my experience from issues have arise on Ts.com so members are aware.
Thanks for the praise - I won't shut down a forum topic unless it's overtly commercial (excepting anyone who has requested permission first), offensive, illegal, or spam. While that's technically a broad net, I think it's important to let it fly and I've rarely exercised any moderation. If people can maintain a minimum level or respect for each other, we should be able to discuss any topic.
Having said that, TundraSolutions is HUGE. They need lots of moderators to keep spammers and abusers at bay...with lots of moderators, there's bound to be some people that don't understand what "moderation" is. It's too bad that you've had a few run-ins with TS moderators. I've read about other issues in the past, and I've seen similar actions on other forums too.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that we'll try to strike the right balance, and I hope that if (and/or when) we over-moderate TundraNetwork or TundraHeadquarters, people grant us the benefit of the doubt.
It's really not about Moderation with Ts it's more skin deep . I'm on a few forums ranging from sportbikes to general chat and never had any issues with any of them like i have with Ts.com. It's just like Ts.com giving me an infraction for having a Link to your website that i showed you how pity does this sound? Overall it's what benifit's Ts.com that comes into question and frankly they don't deserve any self recognition anymore.
I do like the mod style your forurm has created because people can stand ground freely against Toyota. If the post are constrictive and have some insite I don't have any issues with them. If post talk about law suit's that is a No No in my opinion that would need to be shut down since it's a conflict of intrest.
I understand there are certain rules and guidelines I always try my best to understand each and every rule on every site.

Of all the Tundra forums I am a member I noticed TS has the least activity and unfriendliest members (although some are great). Somehow I find myself not logging in much. I'm sure others will make their choice to continue or not based on the value of the forum to their needs. Thanks for the heads up regarding vendor issues.
And I've only noticed one moderated thread by Jason recently. And with all due respect I understand why. LOL....he did it so smoothly too that I've forgotten the topic now so it obviously wasn't that important.
Coming from TS to this, I find the line between concise understanding and moderation becomes clearer and louder. What do I think of this site? I personally can't vouch for it very deeply but time will be the telling factor.
And TS needs to fix its membership if it wants to bring in more membership - currently , I see the membership is very unfriendly and unwelcoming to outsiders who just want to share their experiences with their Toyotas.
I'm Going to say it like this folk's Ts.com has gotten too big for there head's now in the form or unethical decision made up to bad practices deep within the Adminstration. In the early day's Ts.com started just like this site did a semi small comminity who evolved into the site it is today. Ts.com in the early day's had postive people who promoted change but i can't say that today. I've never forget the admistrative assistance (possum) who starting up the Texas Tundra group 09-09-01 and the postive focus on respect for his member's. It was his help that shaped Ts.com .What happened to him is still uncertain I received a Pm a wile back this year from his wife saying that possum logged in and was striped of his title as Adminstrative Assistance .When asked about it they give No reason why or how. These are the same practices Ts.com did to my friend wylcat in Myrdle beach sc who was also a Mod within Ts.
The core problems have a lot to do with who they promote to run this web site. This community has very much ran it into a soul money maker from what I have been told. I have No problem's with bussiness but I do have issues with unethical bussiness practices which Ts leaves a lot desired .I think it's best people understand how ts operates its bussines which is pretty cut throat.
I was one of the first members here and this site has only gotten better. I used to go to Ts everyday..then every other day...now I go once a month and the topics are getting weaker while the members are getting dumber. I go once a month and simply strip mine info out of it. TundraHeadquarters and Tundra Network is my home. I come here atleast once a day, Normally 5 to 6 times a day. This is my first and last website everyday. Ts can rot for all I care but THQ and TNW are important to me.
tundrav8yamaha let everyone know the real deal. post all your info. enlighten everyone.but i belive it is a waste of time. people will still go to the web site anyway. and also some will notify the mod's of what is being said, and a snowball effect is sure to come.i know, i have been slammed for spelling.what a joke. i didn't know you had to have a phd in english. i thought it was more important to get the real info out. i tried the spell check, and it wanted access. so that isn't going to happen.i already had been hyjacked, or hacked into my computer.that is why i do not put any personal info into my computer. nor do i use pay pal, banking, etc.so they got nothing.also the unichip slam on TS, went no where. the mod's allowed it, why? they(UNICHIP) pulled out there ad. so it was there way to try to hirt them. which it didn't. it helped. it made people buy it. but they don't know they are loosing even more sponsors when there contract's runs out. i already got wind of that.since i'm i the business. beside's there is a click on TS. i had a issue here to, with claims of 130+ mph w/o a trd s/c. but there are rat's that already ran & told TS about this.so don't be surprised if you respond here & get banned over at TS, for no reason. i already moved on. i wanted to post answer's to people, but since there know it all's over there, let them respond. i also had info, but no one was interested in it here. so i let it go forever.who care's it's a forum, and it's for useful info, not BS chit chat. keep it real. & i'll stay.
