What does everybody think of the timberline mica (dark green) metallic color getting replaced with the spruce mica (evergreen, bright grass green) metallic color?

I don't like green so either way no real thoughts on the color change. I would like to see a Kawasaki blue to match my bike and that's why I stuck with silver, which also shows little dirt or scratches.

My '96 Taco was dark green and I liked that color.

I actually went to a toyota dealer and if the spruce mica green is the same shade of green and matches pretty closely to the spruce mica green on the toyota camry as it should, I wouldn't mind it. I thought by looking at the tundra on toyota's website that the spruce mica would be medium bright evergreen green green, but it is not in person on the lot. I can probably live with spruce mica green metallic on the 2010 tundra although a shade lighter and not as dark as my timberline mica green. I think toyota along with chevy and other mfgs. color choices are getting worse over the last few years and am not as impressed, especially in dark blue and dark red metallic paint schemes.

Just talked to a large #1 selling toyota dealer today. Good news on 2010's even though coming in very slowly is that, at least this dealer, is willing to customize their allotment of 2010 tundras being built still to accomodate customer needs. This is the first I ever heard of trying to change their pre-built orders the way the customer wants it as far as individual options are concerned. Gonna be driving 2 hours there and 2 hours back in the next few weeks and blow a day to see if they are b.s.ing me or telling the truth. He also said 2010's are more being built NOT in pkgs. but on individual options like I prefer - more good news. One nice feature I have always wanted is 425 msrp and is on the 2010 double cab tundra being a push button power sliding rear window instead of having to manual slide the middle section of the rear window over. For me, well worth the 425 bucks with invoice pricing below 400 and I would use it all the time since I cannot drive and reach back while driving to open it up like I always want to. Bad news is the 4.6L V8 is hard to find in the double and crew cabs and mostly right now on the standard tundra grade trucks with vinyl seats, etc.. I may even consider split bench seats without power bucket seats IF the ratched mechanism to increase front leg support on the driver's seat is high enough to give me enough underneath leg support. I just hope I can get aluminum rims vs. the cheesy steel wheels and also get fog lamps without the bucket seats and trd off road pkg, etc. to save money - we'll see.

Just drove today the 2010 4.6L v8 tundra tow pkg with 4.10 axle ratio and am fairly impressed with the power and speed. From 0-30 mph, it is about the same as the 5.7L, but from 30-60 mph, it did not have the continual pull and torquiness (sort of lagging) as the 5.7L V8. I read an article/review of the 4.6L and it was only about 1/2 second slower than the 5.7L V8 from 0-60 mph and the quarter mile was not much worse either. Also, at 60, 65, and 70 mph, the 4.6L ran at about 100-150 rpms lower than the 5.7L which should help in gas mileage of 2-3 more mpg on the hwy. It is rated 14/19 in 4WD vs. 13/17 in the 5.7L which makes sense and should be correct hopefully. I priced one out and the smaller motor is about 1300 bucks cheaper with the same options and pkgs. I feel if you are towing 5,000 lbs. or less, the 4.6L V8 should serve most people's need for speed and towing and with over a 10% increase in fuel economy, it is worth considering. I test drove a black interior and with black matching glove box, armrests, and carpet, with the nice and sharp looking new graphite radio/instrument cluster area over the silver color of old, it blends in really nice and looks really sharp.

I love the remote control sliding glass in the back. When i feel like opening my windows i can do it all from my drivers seat.
Another option i don't hear much about but I find very convienent is a remote headlight angle adjustment. I have a dial by my left knee that rolls from 0 to 5 and adjusts the height of my low beams. With my truck as high as it is i'm sure the people who drives cars love that i have this too as i can bring my lights to a low setting in town and get my distance on country roads at the roll of a dial. LOVE IT!
