Question from the new guy. Height of truck with a 3/1 lift

Hi, I’m new to this site and I apologize if this has been asked before. I’m thinking of doing a 3” level lift from Low Range. After reading all comments on this form and doing a little homework it seem like that’s the one to go with. I’m looking to get the TRD 17” rims and the biggest tires that can fit, 33”? What I need help with is there anyone out there that has this set up and could tell me the height from the floor to the top of the cab? I would think that it would be 3” greater than stock. I’m just concerned that it won’t fit in the garage and I would have to modify the garage door because it would just be wrong to have it sit outside.

Again thanks for any help that you can offer.

Hi there new guy, I have the toytec 3/1 with the 1 inch diff drop. I just measured mine for you, 6' 8" maybe 6' 8.5" but it's close to that. I have 305/55/20 BFG ATs on mine which are roughly 33s it fits nicely in my garage and in 90% of parking garages. I'd guess you'll have no trouble with the low range kit lift, our friends with the 6" lift and 35s+ though have a little tougher time fitting in garages like ours. Have a blast with your Tundra new guy ;>

do the 33" tires and 20 rims effect the MPG? if so how much? i am thinking of doing a leveling kit and adding the same size rim/tire to my 4.6L 2010 tundra. what do you think? will the 4.6 be ok?
