put drive in RWD and in D mode (you can also choose S mode) turn off all your nannies by holding VSC button 3 seconds. hold your brake with left foot and gradually accelerate. your tires should spin.

Thorough! I thought once it went into 4x4 it automatically turned off VSC though?

I don't wish to sound like the fool here. But which button is the VSC button. When I turn off the one I think it is I find the grannie under the hood still takes control and really limits my burn outs. I know the truck has the power but I still find myself dissapointed with a little burn out.

VSC button is located bottom right from your steering wheel ( should be directly above your right knee if you're seating in the driver seat).

Push that button for 3 seconds until you see VSC OFF light on your tachometer. to revert back to normal, just push the VSC button once and everything is back to normal.

Also, push your Tow/Haul mode button on too so your gears stay longer.

goodluck!

well ya thats the button ive been hitting to do burn outs, it allows me to spin the tires, but the (vsc off) light is not the one that comes on, a light that has a truck with tracks behind it and some other red light come on. even still when i get it to spin around, i still hear the abs engaging on the front tires and the revs go all screwy..

cheers worked like a charm went and had a good burn around

its real easy hold your traction control button for 5 secs then a light should pop up on your dash showin its off, then you do a brake stand hold your foot on the brake and then give it gas bro let the rubber freakin fly man! good luck lemme know

Please tell me ya'll are burning up those worthless from factory tires not some BFG A/Ts like i got on mine... 400 dollar tires don't sound nice to burn up.

ok in mine all i have to do is just clikc the trac control button and all you have to do is hold th brake with ur left foot and step on the gas with ur right foot and they will spin

yea they will, but not as smoking good if you don't turn off all your nannies and activate tow/haul mode on while in 2WD. Do this and you will cause or make bystanders cry with joy.

Ok so I think I got it now: truck in 2H (normal driving mode), hold VSC 3 seconds til it shuts off and says so, engage Tow/Haul mode, hold brake and continue to hold, then gradually apply increasing force to gas. Burn, baby, burn! Ok so what's the point of eating up 10% tire tread whether it's your factory or specialty tires? I'm learning here....not criticizing.

the point is to look cool. It does nothing else but waste rubber. I do burns on my OEM tires and not the aftermarket ones.

Just remember that you are burning about 5000 miles of life (debatable) of them tires whenever you do a good 10 second burn. Not worthy if you just plain "want to look cool" unless you gots' mucho- moolah to spare.
