Fuel Tank size

Anyone have any info. on the availability of an aftermarket larger size fuel tank for my
2007 Tundra

Turns out the light flashes when it is almost totally empty. when the fuel gage read E it means Enough to make it to the next town. Mine takes 20 gallons when the light come on and about 21 t0 22 when on E; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by mike k on August 21, 2009 at 8:49pm: Why need bigger - isn't 26 gallons enough and the fuel light does come on at 6 gallons left in the tank and 15 mpg x 6 gallons = 80 miles should be enough to get you to a gas station in most places.; ▶ Reply to This

Even when the stats say 0 miles to the tank, I can keep going although it's just not a comfortable feeling. The most I've ever managed to pump is 24 gallons. On average I used to drive 280 to the tank before I'd top off but as of late I'm getting better mileage and letting it go to 330 before I stop.; ▶ Reply to This

my 22 foot enclosed trailer. The trailer is usually loaded to capacity, and having a larger fuel tank would sure make

Permalink Reply by Bryce on August 28, 2009 at 10:32pm: that was a lot said. with Toyota its odd. with my fj cruiser once the pump would click off, i could put in at least 3 or 4 more gallons. its the same with the tundra. i fill up when the light comes on and i get about 20gal but if your patient and keep going you can get 3 or 4 more gallons.; ▶ Reply to This

My Mouth Drop. I Had Gotten A Lil Over 18 Gallons Of Gas With Just A Quarter Tank.... Something is Wrong Here B/c I Remember It Use 2 Stop At 13 Or 14... But After That I Checked How Much I Cud Get On A Full Tank Of Gas & It Went Up To 341Milez Instead Of 315 That I Usually Get... Can Somebody Explain WTF Is Up With My Gas Tank...
