Is there a fog light kit for the 2008 Tundra? I have an SR5 that didn't come with them, has anyone found a kit that works? I am only finding piaa replacement lamps on ebay for people who are lucky enough to have factory fog lights already. The Tundra accessory sites I've found don't list them. I am thinking I'm SOL.

I felt the same way about the electrical stuff in trucks, but there really wasn't much to it. I am sure you can handle it, but I am also sure that you can get them installed for a few bucks and a lot less headache :) Post some pictures when you're done. Good luck and feel free to ping me if you need any help.

I ordered them today. They shipped today. Should be here Wednesday and my landlord is willing to help if I get stuck on the install. I'll buzz you if anything comes up but appreciate all the help so far!
Can you tell me how the PIAA 540's work? Are they too bright for everyday use? Do other cars flash you?
I was debating on these or the new 510 All terrain pattern which is supposed to be somewhere between a driving light and fog light.
Thanks!

Hi Peaceman, the PIAAs work great, fantastic in a snow storm with the headlights off. As for getting flashed, not yet, but someday I am sure I will find the right bar and it will happen.
Oh you mean other cars flashing me with their brights? That actually has been problematic. I have had oncoming traffic flash me, and even had a few people take it upon themselves to get slow down to get behind me and turn their brights on. One particular %$^& was so belligerent that I pulled over so I could get behind him and turn the brights on his POS.
I asked a friend to pay attention to it when I was following him. He said, yeah those things are way too bright he could see why people were so pissed. Since then I only turn them on when I need em. My advice find a less offensive pattern no need to be %$^& like me :)

Agree with Kaz on his assessment. It depends on my mood if I'll turn them off but I like them because it gets the slowpokes out of my way. I do try to keep a good distance behind other cars so it's not as bothersome. I've had a few people tail me afterwards with their brights on but my windows are tinted so dark it doesn't even do anything plus I think most people are afraid of TX plates in CA. But those lights saved me through treacherously thick fog and I am happy with what I got for the money.
dont even worry about it,i onlyhave oem and i run all the lights i can at night/ dusk. and i usually have my quad in the box, spinning the headlights up a little higher (like a leveling kit) which i find to work alot better at night but then i get high-beamed all the time and get followed by a$$holes all the time. the guys from work all tell me that my lights are really bright... Ha
I have actually looked into them. My tundra needs them and I found some stock replacement. I would show you the sight but i cant remember were it came from. I would say go to the toyota dealership and see if you can get one from there
