2007 trottle sticking when floored

Twice I had a run away engine in passing full throtle mode. I had the heavy rubber mat . It didnt appear to be on the throttle but i pulled on it and the problem abated. Anyone else had that problem. I read that there is some research being done to see if in fact the problem is electrical Thanks, Barry

I heard of one case that the pedal was faulty and the sensor wasn't registering correctly.
